SUPPLY CHAIN
Ensure absolute fairness in the supply chain you operate in. Be confident in knowing that everyone gets exactly what is owed. Payment management from the ‘producer to consumer’ ensures a fair and ethical supply chain.
Supply Chain Ucoins are a digital value carrier with full transparency and targetability.
They do not store value, cannot be traded or stolen and can be programmed with pre-defined spending categories.
CASE
BEAN TO BELLY
COMMODITY: COFFEE
We use our Unbox Supply Chain solution to build and operate Unbox Bean to Belly, an interactive web application which incentivizes users to support the tier 1 producers operating within the ‘traditional supply chains’. Rewards come in the form of Supply Chain Ucoins, which direct purchasing power towards ethically sourced goods, offering users the chance to give back to those who need it most.

HOW IT WORKS
Scan the QR code on your coffee cup and find out exactly how much money each person in the supply chain receives. Through this AR, you will also be able to see the specifications and sensory breakdown of the coffee you are drinking: location sourced, farmer, methods of drying, flavour profiles, aroma and much more.

For every coffee you purchase, you will receive a Bean to Belly token. Unbox Supply Chain is putting the power back into the hands of the consumer, whereby you will have the option to keep your Bean to Belly token (and get the 10th coffee free) or give it to the farmer.
Benefits of Bean to Belly Tokens
Due to the lack of transparency and information about the supply chain of coffee beans, many participants in the chain – from the farmer to consumer – have no idea who, what and how much is earned from the coffee.
#Unboxthetruth campaign
Join us in creating awareness and educating consumers on how our choices influence malpractice in the coffee trade, the key issues facing farmers in developing countries (corruption, drought, malpractice, extortion etc.) and why supporting ‘transparent trade’ practices is essential.
